1. There should be no explosive medium in the place of use. The surrounding media should not contain gas and conductive medium that corrode metal and damage insulation. It is not allowed to be filled with water vapor and have serious mold;

2. The place of use should be equipped with facilities to prevent rain, snow, wind and sand, as well as anti-static measures;

3. The location of the site should be away from the area with high fire risk, as well as the place where dust, oil fume, harmful gas source and corrosive, flammable and explosive materials are stored. Avoid low-lying, humid, thunder, heavy salt damage areas and places with frequent earthquakes; avoid strong vibration sources and strong noise sources; avoid strong electromagnetic field interference; avoid high-rise buildings or basements, as well as the lower or next door of water equipment.

The extreme limits of ambient temperature of fault recorder are - 25 ℃ and 70 ℃. The equipment without excitation should be able to withstand the temperature in this range without irreversible damage. After the temperature is recovered, the fault recorder can work normally.
